Hi! Thanks for visiting! In this blog I'll show you my latest photography adventures, but also give you a glimpse of the person behind the camera.
About the photography- My style is pretty classic, with a bit of flair. Definitely not traditional, but timeless. I love capturing the emotion behind the memory. I incorporate elements of photojournalism, and also take inspiration from fashion photography. Scroll down and take a peek at my work, and watch some slideshows to see more. I take on a limited number of weddings each year, and am currently booking for 2010. Based in Columbia, SC, but available state, nation, and world-wide. I love to travel! :)
About the photographer- I'm a wedding photographer, a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend. I love authentic conversations about God and life....add Starbucks and I'm just giddy :) My husband and I met in a most unusual way, and we love to laugh together. I love to walk the streets of foreign countries, but also to snuggle under a blanket at home with a good book. I love to write but I'm not that good at it. I love the red shoes I'm wearing in the picture to the left. If you ever see me wearing them, you know I'm feeling cute that day. :) I could spend hours in a bookstore. I love music and when you can just feel a song in your soul. I'm a dreamer, and a bit idealistic...I believe that even one life can change the world. I pray every day that mine does. Most of all I love my Jesus, my Redeemer, and the deep meaning and purpose He has brought to my life!
Enjoy!
I photographed the sweetest wedding on Saturday! Here are some favorites and the slideshow. Enjoy!

Hello blog world…that is if anyone still is checking. I’m still here! I’ve had my hands full raising my sweet Samuel and Selah, along with tons of photo sessions and weddings. I have been pondering the future of my blog. Honestly, it is just ‘one more thing’ on the to do list. I have considered possibly just posting one image from each session instead of the many I usually post. I have considered eliminating it all together. Or I’ve considered making it a combo personal & business blog - because there are so many times something funny happens with the babies that I wish I had a blog to share it on! Here are my babies at 5 months. They are 6 months now - I need an updated picture!

We’re right in the middle of 2010 Fall Portrait week, and wanted to encourage you that there is still time to sign up. I have decided to extend my special for a few more dates:
Tuesday November 23, Tuesday November 30 or Tuesday, December 7
$150 for a 30 minute mini-session + CD with 50 print ready proofs from session
Email me at: brooke@brooketurnerphotography.com for information on how to sign up.
How CUTE is this family - photographed them on Saturday:

Yep! I’m still here!
I am a little backlogged in the blogging department (if you haven’t noticed). It’s definitely not from a lack of things to post! I just counted, I have TEN posts I need to make to catch up! Check back, I hope to start plugging away at those this afternoon
Love!
CLICK HERE for the slideshow of this sweet sweet wedding I photographed on Sunday!

I’ll be posting my favorites in another blog post coming very soon! There are so many, hard to choose. In the meantime, enjoy the wedding highlights in the slideshow.
I also have many other sessions to post - engagements, family sessions, and a high school senior! I’ll be posting more reguarly now because our {part time} nanny is starting Monday. YAY!
Hello long lost blog friends!! I’m back in the saddle after maternity leave! Sorry for the long break. My first post-baby wedding was this past weekend. Kristin and Nick’s wedding was SO much fun!
