Ceremony: St. Luke’s Chapel
Reception: Historic Rice Mill Building
Maggie and John’s wedding was so much fun that Amanda and I are still recovering! (specifically from dodging all the guests on the dance floor while trying to capture all the fun - the dancing was non-stop!)
The day started out on Sullivan’s Island at a beach house that the family rented. The girls got ready there, and then we headed to the Chapel, where Maggie and John met up before the ceremony:
This is John with Maggie walking down to see her groom.
Then, on to some relaxed portraits:

Exchanging vows
This ring bearer, Jack, was cracking me up the whole night. I think in a few years he may be my competition (if you can’t tell, he’s got a camera in his hand, which he didn’t let go of the whole day!). So cute!
Here’s Jack a little later - hard at work. I love how he’s got the strap around his neck…makes him look so professional
After the ceremony, we headed just a few blocks away to the Historic Rice Mill Building, which is located at the Charleston Marina. A gorgeous venue with awesome exposed brick throughout, and a cool porch out back with a view that was to die for.
We snuck away around sunset to capture some sweet images by the marina.
Maggie having a blast at the reception - catching up with old friends from Wake Forest.
Then came dancing! Maggie and John’s first dance.
This guy above, and his other 2 band members kept the party going! I’ve GOT to find out the name of this band from Maggie. They are now in the lead for my favorite wedding band. They played the perfect mix of Mo-town, shag, and oldies.
And finally - a sparkler exit!
Maggie and John - have a blast in Italy!
