On Friday, my assistant Amanda and I hopped in the car for a working mini-girls weekend. Destination: Pawley's Island. One of our best friends Sarah lives down there, so it was convenient for us to crash with her while we were in town shooting Jessica & Hampton's wedding. We didn't get to hang out with our friend as much as we'd liked, but we did get to shoot an amazing wedding!
Jessica and Hampton have THE SWEETEST love story. They met one summer when Jessica was working a summer job at Egg's Up Grill in Pawleys and Hampton and his buddies were living down there in his parents beach house. The story goes that while dining at Egg's Up one morning, Hampton's dad asked for Jessica's number for his son…because (as he says) "not only was she gorgeous but she got my coffee in 2.5 seconds, so she knows how to make a man happy!".
They are truly the perfect couple and their wedding day was filled with so many smiles, laughter, and good friends.
Of course, they had to get married in Pawley's. Where else?

The rings (see if you can find me in this shot). Jessica's engagement ring is exactly like mine - I've never seen anyone with a ring so similar!

The flowers were amazing!!
Jessica peeking out the window to see if it was raining…
Hampton and his guys being silly pre-ceremony. I think this was something to do with Captain Morgan?

The reception was at Pawley's Plantation. Here's the first dance:

After the sweet moments, the party got started!!
Doug Clark and the Hot Nuts kept the fun going all night…they were pretty funny too!
The dance floor was packed all night long. Check out Hampton in the air!
This is the adorable couple that referred Jessica and Hampton to me. Thanks y'all!
Fun times!
Goodnight! They left in a black corvette convertible after the bubble exit. So cool!
Hope y'all are having a blast in Mexico right now! Can't wait to hear about it when you return
