Hello long lost blog friends!! I’m back in the saddle after maternity leave! Sorry for the long break. My first post-baby wedding was this past weekend.  Kristin and Nick’s wedding was SO much fun!

Saturday was my LAST wedding to photograph pre-babies! I took a whole TEAM up to Laurens to photograph Lindsay and Ryan’s wedding because I knew I’d need the extra help!  Paula did an excellent job second shooting (as always!), Amanda was a superb third shooter/water-fetcher/bag carrier, and my sweet husband Justin drove me from point A to point B (so I wouldn’t have to walk too far!).  I am so thankful!! Everything went SO smoothly on Saturday!  I photographed Lindsay’s sister, Ashley’s wedding in Laurens about 14 months ago, and it was so great to reconnect with this fun family!!   Lindsay and Ryan are on a cruise right now, doesn’t that sound glorious!!

Heather and Alan were married on May 2 at the Jasmine House in Irmo.  We had such a good time capturing their wedding!  Here are some of my favorites!

Congratulations Kelli and Chris!!! Saturday was such a beautiful day for a wedding, and it was so much fun capturing this special day!  What a lovely couple, inside and out!!

I photographed TWO weddings this past weekend (Saturday and Sunday!) which I rarely do! Needless to say I’m slammed trying to turn the images around, so sorry for the brevity    I have to give a special shout out to Paula, who assisted for me both Saturday and Sunday. I couldn’t have done it without her, being 28 weeks pregnant with twins!

I absolutely ADORED working with this sweet couple and their families!  Katie and Jesse were married on Saturday at Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church (which was where Katie’s parents were married!); and the reception was at Leaside.  Everything was just perfect - from the beautiful weather, to the incredible food by Southern Way, to Mike at Night (Partytime DJs) who kept the party going all night long!  Here are a couple of favorites!

Kristin and Jeremy are married!! I have had such a great time getting to know Kristin & Jeremy during their engagement…..from meeting at Starbucks, to shooting their engagement session at Folly (where we got a little lost trying to find our cars!), to the bridal session where Kristin and her mom surprised me with the cutest tote bag, and finally the wedding!  The ceremony was at Lexington Baptist, and the reception was at Lexington Country Club.  We were blessed with beautiful weather, thankfully!

Here are a few of my favorites …..the slideshow will come later in the week (probably Thursday).  There are some really fun dancing pictures too, but you’ll have to wait for the slideshow for those (I couldn’t narrow them down!)

I am working remotely this week from Myrtle Beach while my husband is at a conference. Too bad it’s rainy and cold down here !

On Saturday I had such a blast photographing Brittany & Cole’s wedding!  The minute I met Brittany and her mom at Starbucks back in July, I knew that we would really get along and work well together.  It’s funny - I met with Brittany for the first time on the morning that my friend Amanda delivered Naomi (and I did birth photography).  I had driven straight from the hospital to Starbucks for our meeting,  so I was a little frazzled, hadn’t slept much the night before, and definitely hadn’t had time for a shower!  Although I wasn’t 100% for the meeting, I am so glad they selected me for their wedding photograper because it was so much fun getting to know them throughout the process.  Brittany & Cole’s ceremony was at Spring Valley Baptist in Northeast Columbia and the reception was at the Mitchell House in Lexington.  I love photographing both places, but especially SVBC because that is where I got married almost 5 years ago
