My friends, Heather and Brian, just had a baby! A sweet little boy named Bailey. I had so much fun hanging out with them last week and spending some time with the little man. You may remember Heather’s maternity shots I did a few months ago. It’s hard to believe Bailey is already here! Enjoy!
Yesterday I went down to Folly Beach to shoot the Darley’s family portraits. One of my best friends from college, Renee, married into this lovely family in May ‘06. For Mr. and Mrs. Darley’s wedding anniversary the ‘kids’ decided to give them a Brooke Turner portrait session (awesome gift idea, by the way!) :) It was so good to see Renee for a little while and catch up. Here are a few of my faves-
We did a combination of posed and unposed. First, here is one of the traditional posed shots
Now getting a little creative with the angle-
Katherine with Maggie-
We did a few candids….these always turn out to be my favorites!
Enjoy the rest of your vacation, Darley and Zion families!
I’m finally caught up on my blogging! So you probably won’t hear much from me until after Libby and Adam’s wedding this Saturday. I’ve got to finish editing all these awesome sessions I’ve been blogging about!
Oh, and I just realized that today is the one year birthday of my blog. 109 posts later - it is still going strong!
Yesterday afternoon I had the pleasure of photographing Hayne and Melissa. Their mom, Barb, is the aunt of a sorority sister of mine from Clemson named Stacy. I’m also photographing Stacy’s wedding next June which I am very excited about! Hayne is a senior in High School, and Melissa is a senior at USC (in California!). Pretty cool, huh?
We went down to the State House, which was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Here are a couple of my favorites. There are so many cute ones, it was hard to choose!
I like this one below, because you can see their church (Trinity Episcopal) almost glowing in the background. I love the color of that church!
I think Melissa enjoyed being taller than Hayne for once
I love photographing siblings that get along as well as these two do. Thanks for being so cooperative, Melissa and Hayne!
Last evening, I had the pleasure of photographing the Metz Family. You can definitely tell this is a close-knit family. They reminded me of my family -joking around a lot and having a good time together. Plus they brought their adorable Jack Russell Terrier, Gus. Click here for their slideshow.
Here are some of my favorites.
