Last week I went over my friend Heather’s house to photograph Bailey. He just turned one! It’s crazy to see how much he’s grown since our last session in December. It was SO hot on the day of our session that we decided to include some pool time at the end too!
I just love this family to pieces! I especially enjoy my frequent lunch dates with Bailey and Heather to Chickfila and Rita’s
Heather and Brian are expecting another little boy in November! Brothers-how special!!

A super sweet family I photographed at Edisto earlier a couple weeks ago. What a fun crowd!
I have had several people inquire about beach sessions. I’m considering doing a week of beach sessions in September. Please comment here or email me if you are interested so I can start to make plans!

Last week I shot a super-fun “Day in the Life” session in Lexington. We fit a lot into our 2.5 hour session - reading in the bedroom, eating watermelon on the porch, swimming in the community pool, bath time, and bed time. What a sweet family!

Last week I photographed little Parker right here in my neighborhood, Lake Carolina. It was his 1st birthday!

This week is another busy week for me:
3 Family sessions (one in Edisto), Maternity Session, and then Kristin & Kenneth’s rehearsal dinner and wedding this weekend in Moncks Corner. Lot’s of blog posts coming up soon!
Wow - I sure have been photographing the most precious babies and children lately! Last night’s portrait session was no exception. It was so nice meeting the Branham family! Little Addy and Reese are so cute! Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

The past couple of weeks have been so slammed for me! In addition to all of the sessions you’ve seen here on the blog, I’ve traveled to Charleston twice in the past 2 weeks to shoot bridal sessions (which unfortunately I can’t post yet). What a fun job I have! Thanks to all of my faithful blog readers and commenters!
Last week I drove out to Winnsboro to photograph the Price family - including adorable little Georgia Kate. She is the smiliest baby I have EVER photographed…and those big blue eyes - wow! Here are just a few

You may remember baby Will from a session in January when he was only a few weeks old. Now baby Will is 3 months old and is getting so big! The Sanders family are members of my “Baby’s First Year” program. This is a program I set up in which a family can capture images of their little one throughout all of the changes of the first year!

Last week I photographed Rachel, Wes, and little Caleb. He is such a good crawler! Seems like just yesterday I photographed Rachel’s maternity session, and now Caleb is over 9 months old! Here are a few-

coming up soon: photoshoot of the Velo Vixens for Go Red campaign, a Litchfield engagement session, and Anna & Ryan’s Kingstree wedding coming up this weekend!

Earlier this week I photographed our good friends, the Brewers! Jamie and Jennifer moved here from Atlanta to help Jay and Lara Beth Hardwick start our new church, Awaken Church. From the minute I met Jennifer I just knew we’d be fast friends. And to top it all off, they moved just a few houses down the street from us in Harborside. It’s so fun to be able to just run up to their house! Their two little girls, Bella and Emery, have stolen my heart too and seriously I love them dearly. I can’t wait to meet little man Brewer to make his grand arrival in June! On a related note, if any of you blog readers would like to come visit Awaken Church on Sunday morning, we meet at 10:30am at Polo Road Elementary in Northeast Columbia. We believe church is something to belong to, not just attend, and we’d love to have you come join our Awaken family :)

coming up next: Rachel, Wes and Caleb Church - another sweet family session!
Tuesday I shared lunch with my friend Heather at the new Panera (super close to my house-whoohoo!!) and afterwards I popped over to her house to photograph Bailey and their family.
Heather and I have been friends since high school, but our friendship has really deepened over the past few months. We have the most amazing deep spiritual discussions, and I’m always so uplifted after our time together. Plus she’s got an ADORABLE little boy and precious family. Here are a few from our mini-session on Tuesday! I can’t believe how Bailey has grown..I remember visiting them in the hospital back in June when he was born. Seems like yesterday!
