Our sweet friends the Purvis’s! Could there be a cuter family? I love these four! And by four I’m including little Eli - expected due date mid November! Can’t wait to meet him!! We had Heather’s baby shower this past Saturday and it was SO much fun!!
Another sweet family in my “Baby’s First Year” program! Baby Christian is just a couple weeks old and just as cute as can be. Can’t wait for his 6 month and 12 month shots! I love watching these precious little ones grow!
Happy Friday blog readers! Last Friday a couple of friends and I took a weekend road trip to Orlando for the Deeper Still Conference, which of course was amazing. This was my third year and I hope to go every year for as long as this conference exists! The three speakers are Beth Moore, Kay Arthur, and Priscilla Shirer. All three spoke to me deeply, but I tell you what- Pricilla Shirer had an extra measure of annointing this year. Her whole message was breaking down Ephesians 3:20:
“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever!”
What an encouraging verse that I have seen evidence of in my own life! Priscilla will be speaking at Shandon Baptist here in Columbia Oct 8-9, 2010 and you can bet I’m going to be there!
As expected, when coming off of a spiritual mountaintop weekend, this has been one of “those” weeks. I’m sure you all can relate….where the stress of work and life seem to take over. I have been out of the house shooting almost every day, and had an influx of albums to design in the office - so I’ve been pretty swamped to say the least! Sorry for the absence on the blog! I have several sweet sessions to show you! Here’s something to tide you over in the meantime…from Heather’s maternity #2 session for baby Eli (due in November)…but Bailey stole the show! Don’t worry we got some sweet ones showcasing the baby bump too
Last week I met the sweetest little girl, Kate, and her momma for a ‘day in the life’ session. We started off taking some portraits, and finished up getting some images of Kate playing with her favorite toys, eating dinner, bathtime, and bed time. Kate’s daddy couldn’t be there due to a prior commitment, but since Kate is part of my “Baby’s First Year” program, I’m sure we’ll see him for the next one! Kate did such a great job and was an especially happy baby!
Here she is - my precious God-daughter, who has completely stolen my heart! I could say so much more about this little angel and her awesome parents, but I know all you really want to see is the images! Last week I made the quick trip out to Lugoff to photograph the Lamb family! They are expecting another little boy very soon! It was so nice to meet them and photograph them during this sweet time!
