Kathryn & Ben’s wedding in Charleston this past weekend was AMAZING! We had such a good time and were blessed with beautiful (a little hot) weather! This post is going to be short on words because I’m running out the door for a maternity session…but I know you just want to see the pictures anyway!
This couple is fabulous! Here’s to many many years of blessing, Kathryn and Ben!

You may remember this sweet Sanders family from Will’s newborn and 3 month photo session. They have joined my “Babies First Year” program and chosen to have their little one photographed every 3 months. It is so fun for me to see Will grow at each photosession! It’s amazing how much can change in just three months! I am offering a $200 discount for the first 10 families that sign up for this program, and I still have a few spots - so shoot me an email if you would like more information! Also keep in mind, this could be an excellent gift for an expectant mother!
Here is Will’s three month session and here is Will’s newborn session in case you missed it.
For Will’s six month, we decided to do some “typical” things around the house, play with some of his favorite toys, and then take his first trip to a playground. We had a blast!

Happy Monday!
Each week I get emails asking all sorts of questions…anything to do with photography, how I got started, equipment or lighting questions, to questions about my faith. I am going to start answering some of the FAQ’s here in a new blog section called “Ask Anything”.
SO…are you an aspiring photographer wondering how I got my start? Wondering what type of equipment I use? Wondering how you can take better pictures of your kids? Curious about my faith in Christ? Send me your question by commenting below, or by emailing me at:

I’ll start answering questions later this week. Don’t be shy…ask anything!
Also, keep a lookout for some images from Kathryn and Benjamin’s amazing Charleston wedding I shot on Saturday, as well as a sweet “Day in the Life” session with the Sanders family. Happy Monday!
Hello friends! I photographed sweet Connor on Monday at Newberry College. We had a blast running around campus. I just fell in love with this family! So sweet! Here are a couple of my faves:

In other news, our friends Jimmy and Amanda welcomed Naomi Chandler Smith into the world at 7:36am on Saturday morning. You may remember them from our maternity session last month. I was there when she was born and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life to see the start of a new life. You’ll see some pictures of this precious babe soon!
Baby Liam is one lucky little guy! You can just feel how much he is loved, and I think it comes across in these images. I LOVE shooting Day in the Life sessions… to capture some slices of everyday life. Those moments probably sometimes seem mundane, but each one beautiful in its own way, and a sweet sweet part of life. I’m so honored to be able to capture and document them! Here are a few of my favorites from my session with the Batts on Monday.

I am feeling SO guilty for not posting anything all week! Y’all know how that week coming back from vacation is…it’s hard to get back in the swing of things! I’m finally caught up and back to business as usual again
Just to tide you over, here’s a sneak peek from a “day in the life” session I shot on Monday in the Charlotte area. I don’t think this family could get any more beautiful!!
Slideshow coming!
