Yesterday I had the huge privilege of photographing Karen and Kyle’s wedding. Karen is from the Bronx, and Kyle from Florida, so they decided to get married at Wachesaw Plantation in Murrells Inlet. These folks sure do know how to have a good time! Now, on to the pictures **WARNING** There are a lot of them! I was having such a hard time narrowing them down, I stopped trying!
started out at Versailles Salon where Karen and her girls got even more gorgeous-
Karen, after getting her hair done, getting hair-sprayed "within an inch of her life" as the stylist said.
Then we went to their villa at Litchfield for makeup-
Also - the must have dress shot!
Then, on to the Plantation. Here’s Karen, ready to go!
Karen with her bridesmaids. These gals were so much fun!
I was so impressed with the details! The place cards-
The Handsome Groom-
I always love the shot right after the couple is announced. It is like it hits them…"Wow, we’re married!"
A sweet shot by the water-
Now, on to the party! The first dance-
"I Wear my Sunglasses at Night" ….Kyle loves this song!
Kyle dancing with his sis, Angela. So cute!
As I mentioned earlier, Karen’s family is from New York. What is a wedding without Sinatra’s "New York, New York" complete with the rockette style chorus line?
And finally - the Sparkler Exit!
I hope y’all have fun in Mexico! Your slideshow will be posted soon.
Last night, I photographed Sarah & Will’s engagement pictures in Clemson. Sarah and I were Zeta sisters at Clemson (ZLAM!) so we had a good time catching up. Will is such a sweetie too - it was so nice to meet him. Seeing all of the students walking to class and hanging out on Bowman field really made me miss my college days. I realized on the way home it has been FIVE years since I graduated. How CRAZY! Boy do I feel old!
Sarah and Will, I had so much fun with y’all last night. I’m so excited for your plantation wedding in May!
Here are a few of my favorites from our session:
The classic "Tillman Hall" shot. This shot is a must have for all Clemson sessions!
A couple at Sikes Hall. I’m a big fan of these columns…
The brick path near the President’s House
We finished up by the stadium!
