Wedding: Concord Presbyterian Church
Reception: Heath Pavillion, Swan Lake and Gardens
Band: The Footnotes
Casey and Jason got married this past Saturday at a cute little country church in Sumter. It was a very sweet ceremony, followed by a fun reception with lots of dancing to one of my new favorite wedding bands - the Footnotes. This band was so much fun and kept the crowd dancing the whole time!
I’m still working on their slideshow, but in the meantime, here are some of my favorites:
Casey’s gorgeous dress
This little flower girl, Paola, was such a cutie. She loved to look at the pictures on the back of the camera after I took them
The Church
Casey and her dad walking down the aisle
Casey and her dad dancing to "My Little Girl" by Tim McGraw. That song always makes me teary eyed!
And finally, the happy couple during the toast.
Ceremony & Reception Location : Old Santee Canal Park
Florist: Southern Stems
Coordinator: By Invitation Only
Here are some of my favorites from Brianna and Will’s wedding:
The dress
Gorgeous bridesmaids bouqets, the beautiful work of Southern Stems
Walking down the aisle with Dad
I love the flower girl in this one
The new Mr. and Mrs
Brianna with her girls
Brianna and Will’s first dance
The gorgeous cake!
Hello! Right now I am in beautiful Orlando Florida at a conference for my ‘other’ job. It has been a crazy couple of days, so now I’m finally getting the slideshow up from Brianna and Will’s wedding that I photographed this past Saturday. The wedding was gorgeous, and the details were to die for. Melanie Murphy (By Invitation Only) and Leslie (Southern Stems) did an incredible job pulling all of the details together. My favorite thing was the guy making fresh Charleson Pralines at the reception. YUM!!

For now, I’m going to post one of Brianna’s bridal portraits (since I couldn’t do it earlier), and I’ll be posting some sample images from their wedding on here later tonight or tomorrow.
I have to apologize to my faithful readers - I’m so sorry it has been so long since I have blogged! Needless to say, I’ve been extremely busy! Lets see…what have I been up to since my last post?
-I’ve took Marie and Megan’s bridal portraits.
-I took some Easter pictures of the adorable Raines children. Here’s one of the girls -
-I also did a fun family portrait for the Oliver family at the Horseshoe. Here is Aubrey and Grant with their new baby brother, Hayden.
And here’s the whole fam
-and finally I photographed the sweet Rholetter girls. Here is baby Kennedy-
And little Madeline-
It’s been a fun but crazy couple of weeks! Tomorrow I’m going down to Moncks Corner to photograph Brianna and Will’s wedding. Then Sunday I’m heading down to Orlando for a conference till Wednesday. I’ll try to do a better job blogging :)
Sunday afternoon I went down to Folly Beach to take Mary Ashley and Juan’s Engagement pictures. Mary Ashley and I go way back - we went to middle school together! I’ve also photographed her sister’s sweet baby Kate. I am really excited about their wedding in July - they have the very popular 7/7/07 wedding date! Here are a couple of sneak peek images:
That water was cold!
It seems that Folly has been such a popular spot for engagement pictures this year! I’ve already been 3 times since January. It’s been fun - I always leave a little early and make a stop at the new outlets off of I-26. That’s a good thing! (although my husband may disagree - I can hear him now…’Honey, what’s this Banana Republic outlet transaction?’)
Hello! If you have emailed me (brooke@brooketurnerphotography.com) lately, I may not have gotten your email. I was just talking to a potential client that sent me an email on Sunday night, and I have yet to receive it. Of course this makes me question if there are others who have emailed me that I haven’t responded to - simply because I never got the email.
I know a lot of my clients read this blog, so if you’ve emailed me to my ‘brooke@brooketurnerphotograhy.com’ email and I haven’t gotten back to you - could you please forward your email to ‘brooketurnerphotography@yahoo.com’? Thanks so much! I’m going to get in touch with my hosting company to see if they have experienced server problems or something. I apologize for the delay.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Saturday evening I photographed Elizabeth and Noah’s wedding at the Fort Jackson Officer’s Club. I also photographed their rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Inn at USC, which was fun because I got to know some of the guests before the big day. Their wedding was so sweet - there were so many family and friends from all over that traveled to be there for the couple - even some all the way from Korea!
Here are a few of my favorites:
Here’s Elizabeth right before she walked made her processional. Their ceremony was gorgeous - outside overlooking the lake.
This is during Elizabeth’s dad’s speech. I think this was their response when he said something about six grandchildren!
First dance. I love the guests’ expressions in the background.
Elizabeth and Noah are such a good match - I had such a nice time getting to know their sweet family. Thanks for allowing me to be part of your big day!
I’ve been a bad blogger here lately! I guess you can chalk it up to me staying busy - which is a good thing! I’ve got lots to catch my blog up with…like Elizabeth and Noah’s wedding that I photographed on Saturday, and then another Folly Beach engagement session from yesterday. Those posts are going to have to wait till later tonight though….I’m about to leave for Kathy’s bridal portrait session at Columbia College. I’m sitting at Jammin Java right now off of Main Street writing this entry. It’s right down the street from my ‘other’ job at SCANA - so its a good hang out place to come and chill if I need to kill some time (I’m meeting her at 6). I highly recommend their pizza’s if you are ever looking for a good place to eat downtown! And even better, they support lots of independent Christian musicians, and are usually playing some awesome music. Anyway, this was really a pointless entry - but I just wanted to let everyone know that some good updates are coming!
